My ex took my kids(6 & 7) (w/o me knowing)to a casino/hotel, left them thr bythemsvs 2 gamble, what can i do?

(they are 6 & 7) later I found out he left them by themselves when they where sleeping to gamble. My oldest woke up and got scared and locked the door from the inside. Im now in the process of going to court due to his behavior on all levels, but in the meantime what can i do besides documenting this to use as proof in court. I have no idea of the name of the hotel and ive searched but theres so many. Not only is he emotionally abusive but now hes doing what i feel is neglect. We both have full legal custody yet he acts and tells everyone (including teachers) that they “live with him” as though he has full custody. I really dont want to go through court again, I mainly just cant afford it and i dont know what to do anymore. any words of advise?
